Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Moriah produces weekly communications to the membership on two set days a week. Additional stand-alone emails are sent as needed from lay leaders and clergy. Our e-Marketing and digital communications are the primary focus for this role. We are looking for someone with experience in design software, and e-communication web platforms to embrace and enhance our brand image and messaging. This position is part-time with full time potential down the road. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is curious, with a great eye for quality and detail, and a passion for accuracy.

The Position

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will collect and develop content for weekly communications across all digital platforms and create paper flyers and weekly Shabbat pamphlet utilizing content calendars and department leaders as resources. The MCC will have the support of office staff and a lay leader from the congregation. This position is part-time between 15-20 hours per week with potential for full-time.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Canva and Constant Contact or similar e-marketing tool
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of digital analytics and marketing principles
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to modern technologies and strategies
  • Design flyers and other marketing materials

Pay Scale

Part-time position, 15-20 hours per week; partial remote work is an option after first 45-60 days; available with 1099 employee status or as a staff employee.
Pay scale: $18+/hour
