A note from Rabbi Silverstein

The Conservative Yeshiva has received a generous full tuition scholarship to be given to a college graduate or college student who is an alumnus/alumna of Ramah Wisconsin, CHUSY, or Chicagoland Jewish High School.

The scholarship is for the Conservative Yeshiva Year Program beginning August 31, 2015, and is ideal for students graduating college now. In addition to the full-tuition scholarship, financial aid for living expenses is available to eligible students through the Jewish Agency’s Masa program.

More information about the Conservative Yeshiva Year Program can be found at http://www.conservativeyeshiva.org/year-and-semester/year-program-overview.

“The Hearing Loop”

Moriah has a loop system available for individuals using hearing aids, to improve communication access for our members and guests with hearing loss. To access this system, tell your audiologist or hearing instrument specialist that your synagogue is “looped” and ask if there is a t-coil in your hearing aid(s). Then make an appointment to have it activated. If your hearing aids do not have a t-coil, talk with him/her about alternate ways of accessing the loop.
